California Privacy Notice
This notice provides additional information for California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA). It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
Categories of personal information we collect
In the last twelve months we have collected the following categories:
- Identifiers (name, business email, organisation, online identifiers).
- Customer records (account details).
- Commercial information (subscription history, billing contact).
- Internet or network activity (log events, device and browser data).
- Geolocation (approximate, derived from IP).
- Professional or employment-related information (role, organisation).
- Inferences drawn from the above to provide and improve the service.
- Content uploaded by Customers, which may include sensitive personal information about Customers or third parties in an investigation context.
Purposes
We use these categories to provide and secure the platform, to support Customers, and to comply with legal obligations. See our Privacy Policy for the full list of purposes.
Sale and sharing
We do not sell personal information for money. Under the CPRA, "sharing" also captures certain disclosures of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not share personal information for that purpose. You can confirm and exercise your opt-out preference on our Do Not Sell or Share page.
Your rights
- Right to know what personal information we collect about you and how it is used.
- Right to delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information.
- Right to limit our use and disclosure of sensitive personal information.
How to exercise your rights
Submit a request to privacy@setara.com.au. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You can also authorise an agent to act on your behalf in line with CCPA regulations.
Global Privacy Control
We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out of any sale or sharing of personal information for the browser sending it.
