UK Privacy Notice

This notice applies where we offer services to, or monitor the behaviour of, individuals in the United Kingdom under the UK GDPR and the UK Data Protection Act 2018. Where this notice differs from our general Privacy Policy, this notice applies for UK individuals.

• Performance of a contract (for example, providing the platform to a Customer or responding to your enquiry).
• Legitimate interests (for example, securing the platform, preventing misuse, and improving the service), balanced against your rights and freedoms.
• Compliance with a legal obligation (for example, responding to lawful requests).
• Consent, where required (for example, for non-essential cookies and marketing emails).

Under the UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Have inaccurate data rectified.
• Have data erased in certain circumstances.
• Restrict processing in certain circumstances.
• Object to processing based on legitimate interests, including direct marketing.
• Receive your data in a portable format where applicable.

We provide the transparency information required under UK GDPR Articles 13 and 14 in this notice and in our Privacy Policy. Where information is collected from a person other than the data subject, our Customers are responsible for the additional information required under Article 14 in the investigation context.

Setara is operated from Australia. Australia does not benefit from a UK adequacy decision. Transfers of personal data from the UK to Setara rely on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA), or the UK Addendum to the European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses where appropriate, with supplementary measures as needed.
